St. Joe Pride is building an on-call Volunteer Action Team, and we need you!

What is the Action Team?

We don’t need you to plan the logistics, manage the budget, or sit through hours of board meetings. We just need passionate people we can call on to show up and help us make events happen.

Whether you can give two hours a year or two hours a month, your hands-on help keeps our community thriving.

Ways You Can Help

When an event rolls around, we send out a call for help. You can step up for tasks like:

• Event Setup & Teardown: Helping us transform spaces and pack up when the fun is over.

• Greeting & Hospitality: Welcoming attendees, handing out resources, and being a supportive presence.

• Behind-the-Scenes Support: Assisting with logistics, running booths, or helping manage event activities.

This is the perfect way to get your foot in the door. By showing up and supporting our events, you’ll work directly alongside our leadership team. For those who are interested, this on-the-ground experience is the ultimate stepping stone. As we build mutual trust, Action Team members will have direct opportunities to step into bigger roles, such as Volunteer Coordinators or even full Board Members.
